2016 Update

Posted by rh@numu | Posted in Uncategorized | Posted on 24-07-2016

As I’m roasting on a hot Sunday evening, a thunderstorm is passing by making threatening noises. With doors and windows open, a cool breeze brings relief and the smell of fresh coffee fills the air. Sweet moment. The RNC just finished thier convention and the DNC is about to kick off tomorrow. Even though, they too, may be heated and issue threats as happened last week. A cup of coffee feeds an orphan in Haiti that is now 6yrs old. We vowed to support the victims in the 2010 earthquake–50,000 kids who lost their parents. Numu is now sponsoring a new child every month with support for the whole year due to coffee sales. So, in this heated and blustering moment, relax. Order and enjoy our specialty coffee and bring a breath of hope to those who have little. God bless!FEED ONE

Good bye fabulous 2015 — Hello 2016!

Posted by rh@numu | Posted in Uncategorized | Posted on 08-01-2016

We quadrupled our giving in 2015 to help provide over 5000 meals to the orphans in Haiti via Convoy of Hope. Thanks to all our client/partners who continue to be faithful patrons. We are looking to double this amount in 2016. Our Roastery was finished in Nov 2015, thus our focus in 2016 will expand. Our growth will also allow us more purchasing power for more sought after micro-lots. Stay tuned for some great offerings by May and thanks again for allowing God to use you to impact our world!convoy of hope

Numu no longer offering ground coffee.

Posted by rh@numu | Posted in Uncategorized | Posted on 01-09-2014

While I attempt to update the coffee catalog to delete the ground option during ordering, I will answer each order via email.. Specialty coffee cannot be ground prior to brewing. Ground coffee goes stale within 2 days, so, when it arrives via ups/usps, it will already be stale. Consequently, our clientele will hopefully appreciate our stand on this matter.

Numu Coffee Exhibit in Hot Springs

Susan and I had the pleasure of exhibiting in Hot Springs. We served free pour-overs and whole bean samples. Many were served and loved the coffee. We met new friends and even reacquainted with old ones. Coffee created a crowd full of conversation and community…wonderful as always. Selah

New Offering Sheet

Posted by rh@numu | Posted in Uncategorized | Posted on 21-07-2013

We have some new South/Central American offerings. Look for “natural” in the name as this means the pulp is dried on the coffee bean which gives it a more sweet, flowery, or fruity taste!!

Numu Offering Sheet Updated

Posted by rh@numu | Posted in Uncategorized | Posted on 07-02-2013

It has been a while, sorry! The construction on the new roastery continues but we progress toward our official opening by summer. We have had resounding feedback on our espresso…”best shot ever” from local coffee shop owners to coffee tasters from Chicago. Quality will always remain priority. Lastly, I want to thank all those who purchased coffee in 2012. We fed over 1,300 meals to orphans in Haiti through Convoy of Hope. I’m looking forward to double that in 2013. DRINK A CUP — FEED A CHILD will be our motto. Blessings and continue to get the word out. Robert

Numu is now in Arkansas!

Posted by rh@numu | Posted in Uncategorized | Posted on 16-07-2012

It’s been a while, but the move is over and the coffee roaster is working fine. There is a lot of work left on the building, but it is in the dry. Clients in Arkansas are picking up by word of mouth. Everyone who tries Numu Coffee is hooked. I do have good news. The crop this year is doing well so prices have dropped. It looks like we survived the hard times and look forward to continuing great service and lower prices in the future. Thanks for following us on twitter @numucoffee and facebook.

The picture is of Adam from The Joint in North Little Rock which serves Numu Coffee at their comedy club. Great clean fun and good espresso.

Blessings, Robert

2011 was a great year for Numu Coffee thanks to its many clients. We served 1000 meals to orphans in Haiti thanks to you! 2012 looks more promising with a new construction for a coffee roasting facility in Arkansas and subsequent move. This move increases capacity and reduces overhead from our existing location. Please download our most recent offering sheet at and let me know how we can serve you by better by creating a great cup of coffee that makes a difference in this world. God bless and thank you for a very successful year!
